Freshly separated boiler shows lots of scale, and broken screws.

Torch and vicegrips is maybe what I would try… I have a torch you can borrow if you like.
Thanks! I’ve got some penetrating oil working right now. I imagine if that doesn’t help matters (with vice grips), then I’ll borrow your torch and if nothing else, everything will go up in flames.
